Travel Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival at Leh (3505 meters/11567 feet above sea level).

On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport Leh - 3500m above sea level youwill be transfer to hotel and check in. Half day at rest for acclimatization. Evening drive to visit Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Changspa, It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission. Later visit Leh Palace. In the evening walk around local market. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh.

Sham Valley

Day start with Hall of Fame, which was constructed by the Indian Army to commemorate the sacrifice of soldiers during Indo-Pak wars , Kali Mata Temple, followed by Spituk Gompa - an 11th century structure , Next on the list of attractions is the majestic Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Nestled deep in the Himalayas, it was constructed by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to honour the visit of Guru Nanak Dev - the founder of the Sikh faith. Drive another few km to witness the magic of Magnetic Hillthat defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road, it seems to slide up and further. Driving through a picturesque landscape, we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar River. Proceed back to Hotel vai same route. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh

Day 3
Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass – 18,380Ft/5550 Mtrs. (125 Kms /0 5-0 6 hrs)

Today at morning drive to Nubra valley, driving over the highest motored pass in the world. The exciting journey through serpentine roads leads you to the Khardungla Pass at an awesome height of 5550 meters. We stop at the pass to admire and click some photographs of the fantastic view. The valley is situated on an old caravan route at the confluence of the Shayok and the Nubra rivers. On the way visit the charming valley, of Deskit – the tiny capital of Nubra. We will visit the Deskit Gompa, perched on a rocky spur above the village, with a commanding view of the entire valley. At Deskit Monastery you will visit 106-feet high, statue of Maitreya Buddha atop on the hill. The monastery has intriguing images of many deities. From Deskit we will drive to Hunder past an area of sand dunes and get acquainted with the famous Bactrian camels, small population of shaggy double-humped animals, which in the old days, were used as pack animals on the Central Asian Trade routes are now used as riding animals in the high deserts. We will ride the double hump camel at hunder on direct payment basis. In the evening we will drive back to the camp/hotel. Dinner and overnight in camp/hotel at Nubra

Day 4
Nubra - Excursion to Turtuk – Nubra

One of the most fascinating journeys in Ladakh this is a less popular destination recently opened for tourist, if you have a thirst for a beautiful location this is the place. En-route spectacular mountain ranges and Villages like. This region is controlled mainly by the Ladakh Scouts a rear department of the India Army. A border village that was recaptured by the Indian Army in 1971. Locals have relatives across the border (Line of Control) and depend mainly on farming of vegetables, apricot besides providing mules and porters. Baltistan a beautiful village with charming people "On the night of December 13, 1971, the people of this village went to sleep in Pakistan. The next morning, they woke up in India." We are in Turtuk, listening to a villager recount the history of this remote northwest corner of Ladakh, which until that night was part of Baltistan in PoK. A full day rough excursion and evening back to Nubra Valley. Overnight in camp/hotel at Nubra.

Day 5
Nubrato Pangong Lake via Shayok (165 Kms/05 – 06 hrs)

After breakfast at camp/hotel we drive to next destination Pangong Lake (situated at 14, 500 ft above sea level) via Shayok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik (Pangong). It’s a short cut and it's a beautiful route. The road follows the Shayok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It takes less than an hour to reach Shayok, and you will be delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong Lake and enjoy your day at Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

Day 6
Pangong to Leh via Changla Pass - 5486 Mtrs. (160 Kms/05 – 06 Hrs)

Get up early morning to witness the sunrise view at the lake. Enjoy yourbreakfast and drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. Arrive Leh and check in at the hotel. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Tour of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monastery

After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45km west of Leh, Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From Hemis, you are driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya Buddha and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. After that we continue to drive through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. Overnight stay at the hotel

Tour Information

Important Note

  • The prices as displayed in the itinerary are liable to change as per the change in the fuel prices.
  • In case of any unforeseen events like – roadblock, storms, landslides, etc. , the itinerary might have to be changed by the tour captain and any additional costs arising out of such events would have to be borne by the traveller.
  • Sequence of the day-wise tour program may change depending upon traffic schedules/restrictions on some roads and other unforeseen travel – related conditions.
  • If there is any unprecedented hike in the cost of transportation (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation, it will also affect the cost.
  • We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to locations, landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the cost.

General Polocies

  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to be able to check-in to our campsite.
  • It is mandatory for all guests to carry a valid identification proof at the time of check-in. The identification proof accepted are Voter’s ID Card, Passport, & Driver’s license. PAN cards are not accepted as a valid ID proof.
  • The camp reserves the right to take strict actions against a guest, if any action by the guest is deemed inappropriate by the camp or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the campsite.
  • Certain campsites may have different policies during different times of the year and our policy may not apply to them.
  • Guest shall be liable to pay for any damages, except normal wear and tear to a campsite asset if any.
  • Certain policies are booking specific and will be informed to the customer while making the booking.
  • We reserve the right to change these terms at any time & any such changes will be in effect immediately when posted on our website, in our brochures, or otherwise brought to your attention.

Cancellation Policy

This is our cancellation rules but we will give our best possible effort to minimize the cancellation charges.

  • Cancellation charge will be accept from the booking dates
  • Before 30 days – communication charges of Rs. 2000/- per person
  • 30 -15 Days prior to departure 25% on total package cost
  • 14 -07 Days prior to departure 50% on total package cost
  • 07- 03 Days prior to departure 75% on total package cost
  • With in 03 Days/No show Full amount / non refundable

Amendment Terms

Amendment of booked tour will be treated as Cancellation. However, minor amendments can be made on the payment of a communication charge.

Payment Terms

  • Booking amount – 100% Advance for Ticket booking.
  • Booking amount – 25% of total package at the time of booking
  • Balance payment of 75% of total package cost to be clear before 20 days prior of the departure date.
  • Those booking are made on short notice; all payment must be clear within 2 to 3 days.
  • Those booking are made on spot check in; all payment must be made at the time of booking only.
